Punk Subculture

The punk subculture has been around since the 1970s. It is centered around listening to recordings or loud live concerts of punk rock music. Not only is it centered around listening to music, its about expressing yourself and making yourself stand out from the crowd, be it through your dress sense, or your language or even the way you style your hair. Mainly though when you think of a punk You think of the mohawk with a unusual colour.
Although punk arose such along time ago, it is still around even today. With people listening to such bands as the sex pistols, which have been broken up for over 20 years. A good saying from the punk subculture is "Stuck together with safety pins", which is one of the items punks tend to wear as an accessory.
The punk rock bands you see usually consist of a vocalist, up to 2 guitarists, a bass player and a person on drums. usually for the backing vocals other people on the other interments would step in and sing a few lines, however these are usually shouted or chanted rather than being sung properly.
